Sarah & Palmer

Sarah and Palmer selected historic Houston Mill in Atlanta as the site for their wedding and reception.  The wedding was held outside and the azaleas in the gardens were in full bloom and beautiful.  Nothing quite like Atlanta in the Spring.  Both Bride and Groom seemed to be truly having fun on their special day.  Sarah wore a hand-made bracelet with a locket containing a picture of her grandmother and her taken when Sarah was a little girl.

Katie & Tyler

Katie and Tyler were married at St. Peter and St. Paul Episcopal Church in Marietta and their reception followed at one of our favorites, Primrose Cottage, in Roswell.  For the second time this spring we started with rain but the day cleared for a beautiful wedding day.  Both Katie and Tyler are Georgia Tech grads.  Seeing them dance together, it was obvious they were made for each other.

Katie & Dan

Katie and Dan were married at All Saints Catholic Church in Dunwoody and their reception followed at the Hilton Northeast in Norcross.  Although it was a rainy day, it had no effect on the happiness and love that was all around.  Storms knocked the power off at the reception site until just before the couple arrived.  However, our assistant Felicia was able to get some great shots of the ballroom lit only by candlelight!  Katie’s Matron of Honor was the Cupid who introduced the couple to one another.  Great job because they make a wonderful husband & wife. 

Kristin & Christian

Kristen & Christian were married at the beautiful Georgian Terrace Hotel and their reception followed there in the Piedmont Ballroom.  Christian is a captain in the Air Force and some of his fellow pilots were there as his groomsmen.  There is no way to really describe how gorgeous the architecture is at the Georgian Terrace. The entire day was just beautiful!  After the reception, we took a trip up to the rooftop to grab some shots.  

April & Jason

April and Jason were married at historic Pine Lake Baptist Church.  Their reception followed at April’s parent’s home in Stone Mountain.  April was a cheerleader for the N.Y. Nets and then the Atlanta Hawks.  Guess it is appropriate that she & Jason met at a basketball party during the NBA playoffs.  At the end of their wedding ceremony, they shared in the custom of “jumping the broom” .

 

Ashley & Jay

Ashley and Jay were married at Roswell United Methodist Church with reception following at Primrose Cottage in Roswell. They were high school & college sweethearts and are perfect together. He loves how caring she is; and she loves his sense of humor. A few favorites.
